Free ration scheme extended again
केंद्र सरकार ने देश की गरीब आबादी को बड़ी राहत देते हुए मुफ्त राशन देने की स्कीम को तीन महीने और बढ़ाने का फैसला लिया है। Giving a big relief to the poor population of the country, the central government has decided to extend the scheme of giving free ration for three more months.
यह स्कीम 30 सितंबर को समाप्त होने वाली थी। इससे पहले सरकार ने स्कीम को तीन महीने यानी इस साल के अंत तक के लिए बढ़ाने का फैसला लिया है। The scheme was to end on 30 September. Earlier, the government has decided to extend the scheme for three months i.e. till the end of this year.

बुधवार को पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में हुई कैबिनेट मीटिंग में यह फैसला लिया गया। This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday.
वित्त मंत्रालय के मुताबिक तीन महीने तक मुफ्त राशन की स्कीम को आगे बढ़ाने से खजाने पर 45,000 करोड़ रुपये का बोझ पड़ेगा। According to the Finance Ministry, taking forward the scheme of free ration for three months will put a burden of Rs 45,000 crore on the exchequer.

सरकारी सूत्रों का कहना है कि केंद्र सरकार ने अपने पास जमा खाद्यान्न के स्टॉक की समीक्षा करने के बाद यह फैसला लिया है। फिलहाल सरकार के पास बड़े पैमाने पर खाद्यान्न उपलब्ध है।
इससे पहले चर्चाएं थीं कि शायद मुफ्त राशन की स्कीम को अब बंद कर दिया जाएगा, लेकिन इस फैसले को राजनीतिक लिहाज से भी देखा जा रहा है। Earlier there were discussions that perhaps the scheme of free ration would be stopped now, but this decision is also being seen from a political point of view.
हिमाचल के इन कर्मचारियों को तोहफा, जल्दी देख्ने
अगले तीन महीनों में गुजरात और हिमाचल में चुनाव होने वाले हैं। ऐसे में स्कीम को तीन महीने के लिए बढ़ाने के फैसले को इससे भी जोड़कर देखा जा रहा है। Elections are due in Gujarat and Himachal in the next three months. In such a situation, the decision to extend the scheme for three months is also being linked to this.
कोरोना काल में केंद्र सरकार की ओर पीएम गरीब कल्याण अन्न योजना के नाम से इस स्कीम का ऐलान किया गया था। इसके तहत हर महीने प्रति व्यक्ति 5 किलो मुफ्त राशन दिया जाता है। During the Corona period, this scheme was announced by the central government in the name of PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Under this, 5 kg of free ration is given per person every month.

मुफ्त राशन स्कीम का 80 करोड़ लोगों को मिल रहा फायदा 80 crore people are getting benefit of free ration scheme
इस स्कीम का फायदा देश के करीब 80 करोड़ गरीब लोगों को मिल रहा है। राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा कानून के तहत इतना ही राशन सब्सिडी पर पहले से मिलता रहा है, लेकिन पीएम गरीब कल्याण अन्न योजना के तहत मिलने वाला राशन इससे अलग है।
बता दें कि कोरोना काल में लॉकडाउन से प्रभावित लोगों की मदद में इस योजना को अहम माना गया था।
