The average maximum temperature in the state from November 9 to 11 is likely to fall 3 to 4 degrees below normal. At the same time, the average minimum temperature is likely to fall 1 to 2 degrees below normal.

HRTC has amended the luggage policy. Notification regarding the revised luggage policy has been issued by HRTC. According to the new notification, now fare will not be charged even if a full box of apples is carried along with the passenger. Earlier, a half box of apples was free with the ride, but the entire box was kept as half ticket. Whereas without a passenger, fare for one ride will be charged. Carrying bundles of newspapers is also not prohibited in HRTC buses. Now you can carry up to 3 laptops without fare. Earlier only 2 laptops could travel with the passenger without fare, however, full ticket for one laptop without passenger fare would be deducted.

World Bank will give Rs 1,600 crore for renewable energy projects in Himachal

The Government of India, Himachal Pradesh government and the World Bank on Tuesday signed projects worth Rs 1,600 crore ($200 million) to promote renewable energy in the state. With this loan amount given by the World Bank, a target of additional production of 10,000 MW from renewable energy sources has been set in the state’s power supply. The loan amount will strengthen the electricity network in the state. Solar energy capacity of 150 MW will also increase.
