Municipal elections in Shimla; Himachal Congress hit back at BJP

The war of words between BJP leaders and Congress has intensified as soon as the municipal elections are held in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Hitting out at the BJP, Himachal Pradesh Congress President Rajiv Shukla said that nothing has happened in the Municipal Corporation run by the BJP since 5 years, now the party is contesting the Shimla Municipal Corporation elections on the strength of Modi.

Speaking at a news conference in Shimla, BJP State Congressman Rajeev Shukla said Shimla State, which used to be the summer capital of Britain, has deteriorated today as people face many problems such as water, congestion and parking. Apparently, Shimla was never the capital of the British.

Will investigate corruption in Shimla CM: Shukla

Shukla said concrete jungles appeared. The ward elections are held on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All this proves that the company run by BJP could not do anything for 5 years, so they have nothing to say to the people. The government believes that corruption in the smart city should be investigated.

Shukla went on to say that the previous BJP government that gave the triple engine slogen couldn’t do anything while in power, so what are they going to do now? Citizens will not succumb to BJP’s false promises and win Congress in Shimla Municipal Corporation elections.

Claims to win corporation elections with two-thirds majority

Rajeev Shukla said he won the Shimla Municipal Corporation election by a two-thirds majority. Shukla said he would change both state and city government after winning the corporate elections. It will relieve people from long city traffic jams and solve the parking problem. He will work to restore Shimla’s lost existence.
